Admissions to Reception (Foundation Stage 2)
Applications for Foundation Stage 2 for entrance in September 2026 are now closed. Parents wishing to send their children to this school should complete the Wirral Authority Primary Preference online form and return it to the Children and Young People’s Department by the published deadline. In the few months before the children begin school, parents are invited to meet the Headteacher and the Foundation 2 teacher. We also hold a stay and play session before the end of the summer term before your child starts. By law, children must start school at the commencement of the term following that in which they have their fifth birthday.
Admissions to Pre-School
Applications to Heswall Primary Pre-School can be made directly with the school office. Our pre-school is open from the age of two years up to when the children start school.
Admissions to all other Year Groups
Parents wishing to send their children to any other year group should make an appointment to come andf view the school. Parents will then be shown around by the headteacher whenever possible. You can apply for a place at the school via Wirral Council website.
